#42 Valentine Treats

My sweet daughter-in-law sent us a little Valentine's Day.

After being out of town for a couple days we found a little package in the mail from Jessica.

She is very thoughtful. She always letting us know that she is thinking of us.

Experiment in Progress

It seems to be the new thing to have a blog that features a theme. I thought to myself, "What could I do a year long blog about?" I thought about cooking like Julie did on the movie Julie & Julia or one of the many cupcake ones that are out there, but I thought I would just get FAT. Nie and You has one where she and her friend in Germany are going to post 365 mornings . Erica is doing one on her favorite things and Cassie is doing 52 Designs (a design a week) so, what could I do? I had a friend give me a Gratitude Journal a couple of Christmases ago and thought it might be fun to do a year of gratitude on a blog. I am already a little behind, 12 days to be exact, but I am going to do it. It should be fun. Let's see if I can keep it up for a whole year, that will be a lot of gratitude!

About Me

I am a mother of four beautiful children. I have a wonderful husband who loves me, but more importantly he loves the Lord. I work part time and when I am not working I love to be home. However, I do love to get out and see friends, go shopping and eat out. I have wonderful friends who have shared with me valuable lessons from their own life experiences. I have so much to be grateful for. I believe that having and expressing gratitude is an important way of showing our love for our Savior. Gratitude is something that sometimes requires practice or often "deep" thought but once we start recognizing reasons to be grateful, it really begins to blossom. When we are in the spirit of gratitude we are generally happier and more positive.
