In our home we have Family Home Evening every Monday evening. Sometimes it will last a 1/2 hr sometimes a couple of hours (not very often though, we are lucky to get Blue to participate for more than an hour). During this time my husband, Troy and son, Blue and I will have a family activity like: hiking, walking, swimming, bowling, movie, visit someone, work, eat out, play a game to name a few, or we have a lesson on many subjects often spiritual. This gives us a great opportunity to teach our children about their Heavenly Father and their relationship to Him, His love for them and the importance to love Him. We always have an opening prayer and closing prayer. I am so grateful for this time with my family.
